Where Old-School Cookware Lets You Down
Most pans are built to wear out — trapping you in a buy-it-again loop that never ends.
They Don't Last
Most non-stick pans give up after 2 to 3 years. High heat breaks the coating down, it can leach chemicals into your food, and it flakes off — so you're buying another one before long.
Built to Get Scratched
Ordinary coatings can't handle metal. A spatula or pair of tongs leaves marks that spread, and once the surface is damaged the non-stick fades fast.
Uneven Heat, Uneven Cooking
Ordinary pans cook in patches, with burnt edges and raw centers that make reliable, professional results nearly impossible.
The Taiko Difference
The Last Pan You'll Buy
Considered in every detail, made from materials selected purely for how they perform and how safely they cook.
-
Heat That Spreads EvenlyA multi-layer core pushes heat across the entire base, eliminating hot spots and keeping your cooking consistent edge to edge.
-
Built for Serious HeatMost coated pans cap out early, their surfaces degrading under high temperatures. Titanium stays intact all the way up to 1000°F / 540°C, without leaning on a synthetic coating to perform.
-
A True Titanium SurfaceRather than coating aluminum, Taiko cooks on solid titanium. You get natural food release without a fragile chemical treatment that scratches, peels, or wears away.
-
Zero PFAS. Zero Coatings.Taiko is made without PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, or any synthetic non-stick layer. Where traditional pans lean on a chemical surface, ours is solid titanium — nothing sprayed on, nothing built to wear away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we get most about Taiko titanium cookware.
Ordinary non-stick leans on chemical coatings like PTFE (Teflon). Taiko skips all of that — it's solid aerospace-grade titanium, naturally non-stick, and the surface only gets better the more you cook on it. No coatings, no chemicals.
Yes. There's no PFAS, PTFE, lead, or cadmium anywhere in a Taiko pan. Titanium is the same biocompatible metal used in medical implants, so nothing leaches into your food.
No. Every pan is ready to cook on straight out of the box. With regular use the titanium builds up a natural patina, so the non-stick performance keeps improving over time.
Go ahead. Where coated pans scratch, titanium shrugs off metal spatulas, whisks, and tongs. The hand-hammered surface is built to take it.
All of them — gas, electric, ceramic, induction, oven up to 1000°F, grill, even an open campfire. One pan covers everything.
Fully. That said, a quick rinse in warm water is usually enough, since food slides right off the titanium.
Light. Titanium runs about 45% lighter than steel, so a 12" Taiko comes in around 2.1 lbs — roughly half what a comparable cast iron or stainless pan weighs. Easy to handle day to day.
We back every pan against manufacturing defects for 25 years from purchase — if one shows up, we replace the pan free. No fine print, no runaround.
